Everyone watched in horror as bits of the mansion flew in every direction. Gallia sped forward and stopped as Darius took over and started making hand signs.
“Now Darius that is rude. Trying to start a fight and without introducing your big sister to everyone.”
“Rudeness runs in the family.” Darius said with a low growl
“Volatile space,” Lorelai whispered to Elania. The two merged and took off. Gallia took off after them knocking Darius and chase off their feet. The electricity glowed bright around Sparky and they about crossed over when Gallia caught up. The portal opened up and both of them sped in. Gallia knocked Sparky over. “Elania, jump us out. It’ll trap her here.” Sparky ran out of the portal as it closed.
They sped back over to Darius who was taking over and Chase who had already stood up. A helicopter was flying towards what was formerly the mansion
“Who the hell was that?” Elania asked angrily as Sparky unmerged. “And why is our home in pieces.”
“That was my sister. She’s one of the dark angels that were in the cage.” Darius said as the helicopter was landing.
Replicor stepped out and jogged over to them.
“I was in the area checking in on the three of you when I saw the mansion explode.” Replicor said when he made it over. “There’s a safe house owned by The Misfit Society nearby if you need a place to lay low for a bit.” Astrid took over and the 5 of them got into the helicopter and took off. It landed half an hour away in a grassy plain next to a cottage. “Lori and Eli, there’s a story a few miles east where you guys can get some food. All that’s here is soup by the looks of things,” Replicor said looking through the pantry.”
The two became sparky and took off. Astrid was catching Replicor up when they arrived back.
“I know why Gallia is here,” said Chase standing. Everyone sat in the living room to listen after Lorelai put away the groceries. “Fereneses is afraid of dying.”
“And why would he be afraid of that?” Elania asked. “He’s a demigod. The guy is kind of hard to kill.”
“There’s a legend that states ‘an Ethereal Trio arise they will be the downfall of the great Fereneses.’” Chase stated
“So he thinks it’s us.” Lorelai said looking between Elania and Astrid. “In regards to Gallia, she’s only going to remain in there for so long before returning.”
“Why did you jump to volatile space in the first place?” Astrid asked looking at Lorelai.
“We buried a dagger in there a long time ago in the rarest of cases that we would come across a dark archangel. It’s not meant for Darius and we didn’t think of using it on you two. For one it destroys the angel and its host.” Lorelai said looking down.
“But now we can’t go after it.” Elania said looking depressed. “If he has a chance at coming after us in there, we can’t jump back in. Not to mention after what happened, I don’t know if I can go back there.”
“Why is that,” asked Astrid.
“He almost killed us in there,” Lorelai stated as a matter of fact. “If Eli didn’t jump us out just in time, he very well could have.”
Astrid got off her couch, walked over to Elania and hugged her. Elania was shaken and looked slightly horrified.
“I feel broken,” She finally said after the hug.
“You're not broken and don’t ever think that.” Astrid said seriously. “You have to continue; you and Lori are the strongest women I know.
“It’s nice to hear you say that Astrid,” said Elania. “I will try.”
“So what’s the next move?” Chase asked.
“We kill a bitch,” said a very angry Astrid.
Sparks several miles away from the mansion arose. There was a cracking sound and Gallia appeared. Darius stood 30 feet away from her.
“You want me sis; here I am,” Darius called out.
“You were always the dumbest of the siblings.” Gallia said with a smile.
“Go for it sparky,” Replicor said from a tree. “Get ready for Darius and Chase’s counter.”
Sparky bolted in and shot a large amount of electricity that they gathered from Dansbury. Gallia sped away from it and at Darius. Darius made hand signs. Chase emerged from a tree holding his blade and tuning it 90 degrees. Gallia separated a little and Darius flew up still making hand signs. He cupped his hands and thrust them down. A blast of shadows fired down and hit Gallia. Sparky vibrated and sent more electricity. Gallia spun in a circle and redirected the blast and hit Chase’s blade that he was outstretching.
“With this much distraction we may be able to make the jump to volatile space,” said Lorelai.
“I don’t think I can Lori.” Elania said scared.
“Hold back your fears. Concentrate on protecting Astrid and your speed. Volatile space will do the rest.”
Gallia sped into a tree and slammed it at Chase who swung his blade at it. The tree exploded and knocked Chase back rendering him unconscious. Darius grabbed Gallia’s arms with shadows and pulled her towards him. Sparky ran up and hit Gallia in the chest. They then ran past her and took off running into the distance. Darius made shadow fists and hit Gallia who turned and countered at great speed. Darius fell far into the distance as Gallia chased after him and Astrid. The sparks gathered around sparky, there was a crack, and they ended up in volatile space. They ran forward and grabbed the dagger before running out. Darius made hand signs and pressed a fist into the ground making a thick shadow shield. Gallia sped back and forth hitting the shield and weakening it. Replicor ran up and molded around Gallia who was distracted a bit before unmerging Replicor. She turned and hit him in the chest and sent him flying. Sparky emerged from volatile space and ran at Gallia as fast as they could. Darius noticed, stood up and covered Gallia in the shield freezing her in her place. Gallia broke free and hit Darius back as Sparky stabbed Gallia in the back.
Gallia paused. She shook for a while and exploded. Sparky ran Astrid who had taken back over to Chase and Replicor followed. Chase got up.
“What’s the plan boss,” he said to Lorelai and Sparky unmerged.
“We take the fight to Fereneses.” Lorelai said glaring into the distance in the direction of the mansion and the Cloister idol.
